Gustavo and Pamela chose the setting of Verona on a December day for their elopement.
Elopment: this term is used to indicate a very intimate symbolic wedding celebration, usually in places other than those where one usually resides.
From Wikipedia: to elope, to flee, more literally, simply means to escape and not return to the point of origin. In particular, elopement is often used to refer to a wedding held in a sudden and secret way. It usually involves a hasty escape from the place of residence together with the beloved with the intention of getting married.
In these cases, however, there is nothing hasty or improvised and the spouses choose to have this type of celebration because they identify more with an intimate celebration and love the place they choose.
In this case, Gustavo already knew Verona where he has traveled for work several times. Furthermore, they both have Venetian origins. The choice to get married in Verona was therefore dictated by this, as well as by their love for the architecture and historical beauties that the city offers.
For the wedding photo shoot they chose to stay between Piazza Bra, Castelvecchio and the banks of the Adige. The light that day was truly beautiful, the sky clear and the sun shining.
